6. PRIVACY
   (a) The Software contains no analytics, advertising or tracking.
   (b) Widgets and activities (calendar, media, battery, Bluetooth, files,
       clipboard and so on) are processed locally on your Mac and are not
       sent to KIMLABS DEVELOPMENT.
   (c) When you activate or deactivate Cove Pro, the Software sends your
       license key and an anonymous device fingerprint (a salted SHA-256
       hash of the hardware UUID) to the KIMLABS licensing server and to the
       payment provider. After activation, the license is verified offline.
   (d) When Floating Lyrics is on, the title, artist, album and duration of
       the track that is playing are sent to LRCLIB (https://lrclib.net), a
       third-party service, to look up lyrics. Results are cached locally.
   (e) Payments are processed by a third-party merchant of record under
       their own terms and privacy policy.

This website

heycove.app uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure performance. They don't use cookies and don't build profiles of individual visitors. Checkout happens on Stripe, under Stripe's own privacy policy. License keys are issued by the KIMLABS licensing server at license.labs.kim.
